Center Township is one of the first townships to be organized in Columbiana Acounty in 1803. Located in the center of the county on 35.5 square miles, Center Township had a population of 6,473 as of the 2000 census.
Students of Center Township attend Lisbon Exempted Schools which have an "Excellent" rating by the Ohio Department of Education.
